Discomfort level indicates how far super goal is from desired satisfaction level.
The more discomfort level is - the more actively
intelligent system tries to satisfy super goal.
Change in satisfaction level affects discomfort level.
If satisfaction level is close to desired satisfaction level then discomfort level is small.
If satisfaction level is far from desired satisfaction level then discomfort level is big.
Discomfort level = (current satisfaction level – desired satisfaction level)^2
Changes in discomfort level affect reward:
the less discomfort level is - the more reward is.
There are
two causes of changes in discomfort level:
